Daily news and bids
Every day the site reads WSDOT's Call for Bids and records each advertised project (bid opening, contract number, county, description). New bid openings become data briefs automatically. State solicitations, legislation and agency rule changes are tracked by the editors, and original stories are written from at least two sources.
